I cant edit a map. Now why is this?

I put my CD in the drive and still cant.

The map im trying to edit Voobly did not create.

I see no mod wants to answer this.

What’s the error message you get when you try to edit?

No message, once I go to open the map to edit it closes and sends me back to the select edit map window, and thats with any map. Over the years i have edited maps many times, i use it to edited out cheats and to find cheats and remove noob edits. I believe something voobly has put in the client is stopping me.

Try running the game diagnosics if no issues are found I suggest downloading the offline user patch from the userpatch website and applying the update.

Why would i need a offline user patch

Applying userpatch has fixed corrupted games files for me in the past.

Well its not a corrupt file issue. Its a issue of i cant open any map to edit. Im sure this is a issue of Voobly has added something in the client preventing me from editing a map. Now i can understand why Voobly would not want me to edit a rated map, but non rated non voobly created maps are not vooblys domain. I have never needed any patch in the past almost 20 years I have owned these aoe/aoc cds for my computer. What is happening is some program is preventing me from using the map editor for my aoe/aoc game.

Check it without data mods which uses extra civilizations like Wololokingdoms, Realms, PCM, AoFE or Chivalry.
