I had no issues since the latest update either. This is a really weird one too.
When I unzip the folder and start aokts, then click on "Open..." everything works fine. Once I try to "Open..." another map after that, the program crashes right away. I can Reopen or click a map from the list of the bottom 4 ones, I just cant open a new one. its really weird af and its annoying that I have to unzip the folder again every time I want to open another map ;KO

This could be either permission issue as mentioned before or a missing [You must login to view link].

Yep, you have to add this new line to it in the [Advanced] category, then it should work.
